About Us

Background
Sovereign
Asset Management (as a trading name) was formed in 2001. The firm became
directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in November
2005. As the advising partner I have been proving financial advice to
clients since 1988.
What
we deliver
We
offer an independent advisory service for both individual clients and
corporate clients (meaning privately
owned smaller businesses)
Focused advice
The saying “you cannot be all things
to all people” is very true; Sovereign Asset Management is dedicated to
providing a high-quality proposition focused in a select range of areas of
financial planning. Whilst we do not give advice in all areas we do
‘outsource’ work to other specialists.
We believe this focused approach enhances the quality of our
proposition to our clients
Handling your
enquiries & getting in touch
We
aim to respond to enquiries on the same business day; when you telephone
us it will not be via a call-centre, so you won’t be kept on hold
listening to a range of ‘put you through’ options nor will you be kept
on-hold listening to some ‘soothing’ music

Straight
talking advice
Sometimes
financial advice can be simple; however more often than not it is complex.
Depending upon a client's circumstances and requirements we aim to make
our recommendations easy to understand. Typically discussions are broken
down into a number of face-to-face meetings, to ensure that our clients
have the time to digest, understand and more importantly the opportunity
to reflect on what has been discussed
Our
commitment is a long-term strategy
We
want to develop relationships for our mutual long-term benefit; we are not
looking for the mass-market business or one-off transactions. Our services
are typically aimed at individuals and smaller sized businesses, who have
previously received advice from more than one source and their experience
is that the "after-sale" service and on-going advice is poor or
non-existent
How
we get paid
Historically,
financial advice has been predominantly paid for via commission payments.
On some occasions commissions are perfectly suitable and on other
occasions they may not be the chosen / agreed method of remuneration. We
are happy to discuss and agree a payment strategy in accordance with your
own needs
